A response to the Don't Panic D&AD brief and a follow on from the desks project. It's about nicknames and how people dealt with them at school.

The Wasp Factory Mobile

This is a mobile based on the Iain Banks book The Wasp Factory. The main idea was to create a mobile that was based on all the bad things that the main character would experience, including the murders he would commit. Might put some more pictures up that are less ambiguous

School Desks - Process and Practice

A series of desks I made then screen printed on, based around the theme of rituals, in particular school rituals. I started off by looking at nicknames and this expanded into the groups and subcultures that you often find in schools. In particualr, chavs, 'trendies' and geeks. The images on the tables link up and theres little sub plots running in and out of the notes and papers inside the desks.
